Guest Articles about marketing in China from 2014

Over the past year, I have been trying to get more guest articles on Chairman Media. I think guest articles are a great way to promote agencies and individuals working in the Chinese and Asian markets. They also provide unique content and a different perspective than my own, which provides more balance and interest around marketing in China and Asia. This last year, I published 6 guest articles about marketing in China. Most of the articles were from agencies and provided a look at different aspects of marketing in China.

The Nanjing Marketing Group sent me two articles in 2014. They were authored by Tait Lawton, CEO of Nanjing Marketing Group and Misha, a Content Writer for Nanjing Marketing Group. These two articles were the best guest posts during 2014 bringing in more than 1,000 views. These two articles did well because they were focused and written with strong SEO techniques. I usually publish articles with little or no adjustments, which means focus words and SEO should be handled by the author. These two authors did a good job in providing quality content, which allowed their agency’s content to receive 2-3 views per day on average and multiple click-throughs.

Challenges an advertising company must tackle in China (Total Views 112) – Date Published: September 1, 2014

The Gentleman Marketing Agency sent me two articles late in the year and they have been doing well with over 330 views to date. These two articles were written by Olivier Verot, the founder of Gentlemen Marketing Agency and Thomas, a content and marketing expert working at the Gentlemen Marketing Agency. Both articles have strong SEO, but because they were posted late in the year, they have not received a lot of traffic yet. I think next year the articles should do well.

Market Me China

7 Chinese websites you need to know about when using social media marketing (Total Views 276) – Date Published: March 29, 2014

Back in March, I asked Fenghua Mo (Sammi) to write an article and she wrote about 7 Chinese social media websites. This article has done well and has received around one view per day on average since being posted. Lists about social media marketing are hard to get indexed on search engines, but despite that, the post has done modestly well.

Why Digital Marketing in China is a Different Ballgame (Total Views 168) – Date Published: March 18, 2014

The first guest article about marketing in China was from Sookie Lioncourt. She reached out to me in early March and wanted to post an article about marketing in China. She is a freelance blogger and writer, but her focus is not China, which is why I think the article did not do very well. With that said, the article did receive modest traffic and, because of Sookie, I was able to publish other guest articles about marketing in China. She gave me the idea to ask agencies and individuals to write guest articles. So, a big thanks to her for introducing me to this aspect of content management.

Next Year 2015

Next year is a new year and a great time to consider guest blogging. I am hoping that next year I can publish one guest article a month. I am happy to work with agencies and individuals that are interested in writing guest articles about marketing in China or Asia. So if you or someone you know is interested let me know and I will be happy to work with you or them to get content published. My site continues to grow each month and, with proper SEO techniques, your content will receive hundreds of views and multiple clicks.
